Actually I think a lot of these could benefit from a better aspect ratio as well! I could probably find a good tutorial or try to help out myself, if you like.

Date: 2016-02-20 10:49 pm (UTC)If I may, I'd suggest trying to work on your aspect ratio, which is basically the proportions between the width and height of an image. I read in your comments that you use free photo editing sites to make your icons, which is cool - though if you can download programs to your computer, I'd suggest downloading gimp, which is also free, works really well and allows much more than other free sites and programs as far as I know. I'm sure that even free photo editing sites allow you to keep the original proportions of an image when you resize or crop it though, and trust me, it makes a huge difference to the viewer when an icon has the right aspect ratio. For exemple, in this set 18 would be AWESOME if it weren't squished. I like how you try and experiment with textures and colorings and text, though.
